New entrants at Hagelschuer
FOUR NEW APPRENTICES
Four new apprentices are starting their careers at Hagelschuer on 01/08/2019. All future apprentices have already had a trial at Hagelschuer or have completed a work placement. They therefore had the chance to bring their talents and capabilities, to get to know the trainer team and to get a feel for their future field of activity.
During the apprentice welcome presentation in the training room, known and trusted faces were therefore present. In order to provide the former school pupils with a gentle start into their as yet unknown working life, Hagelschuer made a conscious decision to welcome the newcomers with a small presentation in the training room. After a short introduction to the company including the product range, they received all of the important information regarding their apprenticeships. All points of contact responsible for them were introduced, and work clothing, water bottles and information folders were handed out.
During the joint company tour, Tino Wiedebusch, Kevin Fischer, Nico Johannsen and Frederik Herding got to know the team and the company building better. Any questions were answered directly before they went to their specialist departments. The boys also received their invitations to the apprentice bowling. The bowling event takes place in September and is intended to enable trainers and apprentices to get to know each other better in a cosy atmosphere outside of work. After the apprentice welcome day was such a success last year, this module of the apprentice strategy has become a fixed date in the calendar.
We have set ourselves the aim of counteracting the dearth of specialists through dedication, success and motivated new blood. The new apprentice concept that was developed in 2018 along with the accompanying strategy has become established and is paying off with the first successes.
