Mietanlage Ida & Finn

Rental equipment Ida and Finn set on steel beam structure

A galvanized steel beam structure is at the heart of the two new rental plants Ida and Finn (16 t/h, 11 MW, 20 bar). At Hagelschuer , steam or hot water boiler plants for rent up to a capacity of 12 t/h are installed in container units. Plants with higher output classes are for the most part free-standing large boiler plants. To protect the sensitive control technology of the plants, separate mobile containers were previously attached to the front of the boiler. During the planning and design of the two new 16 t/h rental plants Ida and Finn, our engineers modified the design method. Without further ado, they developed a steel support structure that can accommodate the boiler as well as the associated container unit. This basic design ensures that only one crane lift is required for transport and installation. The container unit is firmly mounted on the support structure and on the boiler body. One focus in the redesign of Ida and Finn was on optimizing transport dimensions. Another was on increasing efficiencies. With above-average efficiencies, both plants completely meet the expectations placed on them. Excellent planning and preparation, as well as smooth and cross-departmental cooperation, enabled parallel completion of both rental plants within only six weeks. The extreme vertical range of manufacture is a huge advantage in the implementation of such projects. The tight schedule was completely adhered to because all production steps from steel construction to assembly, component testing and subsequent preparation for transport took place in-house. Both plants have already been rented out. Currently, the rental boilers are held in reserve for district heating at the largest power plant in the Rhine-Main region.
