Valuable energy and a lot of money is saved by returning the accumulated condensate. Condensate is always finished feed water that has been softened, degassed and heated. Condensate recovery systems collect the condensate in their collection tank. Once the maximum level has been reached, the condensate feed pumps return it to the feedwater circuit. Since it no longer has to be softened, degassed and heated there, fresh water, chemical treatment agents and fuel are saved.
