Today we will go into the <strong>operation of a steam distributor<\/strong>. This individual design with the associated steam boiler plant is currently under construction at our company. The <strong>basic task of<\/strong> a<strong> steam distributor<\/strong> is to distribute the steam coming from the boiler to the <strong>various consumers\/consumers.<\/strong> Our tundish is supplied with <strong>process steam from no less than two steam boilers<\/strong>. The steam is fed in at a <strong>pressure of 13 bar<\/strong> via <strong>two DN 200 supply lines<\/strong>. The built-in <strong>safety valve<\/strong> ensures that the <strong>permissible operating pressure<\/strong> is not exceeded. The <strong>condensate<\/strong> produced is <strong>drained into the condensate line<\/strong> at the bottom of the <strong>distributor with the aid of a bimetallic<\/strong> <strong> steam trap<\/strong>. From there, it is <strong>returned to the feedwater tank<\/strong>. According to the customer&#8217;s specifications, the steam distributor in the <strong>first expansion stage<\/strong> will be equipped with a <strong>max. Operating pressure of 13 bar fed<\/strong>.
