Hybrid boilers are fired by a combination of fossil fuels and electrical energy. The boiler has a gas burner and two electrical heating elements. The boiler systems can therefore be operated with gas or electrical energy. Hybrid boilers are suitable for continuous steam generation from process heat. If the flue gas flow stops or its output is insufficient for peak loads, the part fired by gas or electrical energy takes over steam generation.

Another benefit of hybrid boilers: excess regenerative energies can be converted into saturated steam sensibly. You will therefore reduce your CO2 output at the same time.
