Georg Hagelschuer supports social projects every year – regional and international.
WE TAKE ON RESPONSIBILITY
Civic involvement is not an obligation to us, it’s a matter close to our hearts. Because we know that in times of increasing social injustice and ecological challenges, each gesture that makes the world a bit better counts. Social commitment starts for us through supporting clubs, associations and facilities on our door step and goes out into the world all the way to Congo. Out there where we can put people on the path to a better future with our help.
DONATING INSTEAD OF GIFTING
With the “donating instead of gifting” initiative, Hagelschuer has been supporting projects of the “Schwester Maria Euthymia” aid organisation for many years now. The organisation’s aim is to “help people to help themselves” in Congo. In order to put children on the path to education and job prospects, schools are being invested in among other things.
Why we support "Schwester Maria Euthymia"
- We can be confident that all donations are received by the poorest of the poor, and nothing is lost in administration.
- Transport and distribution of the donations is also carried out by supporters of the aid organisation.
- This guarantees fair distribution.
THE PROJECTS THAT WE HAVE SUPPORTED
“Schwester Maria Euthymia” aid organisation
Instead of sending partner companies Christmas gifts, we donate a large sum of money to the “Schwester Maria Euthymia” aid organisation every year. We therefore supported the rescue of orphans in Congo, who often live on the streets in major cities and therefore have no future prospects.
In the past, Hagelschuer has supported a hospital with a financial donation, as well as various donations in kind.
