Hagelschuer supports aid organization not only with Christmas donation

The Democratic Republic of Congo is located in Central Africa. With nearly 100 million inhabitants, Congo is the fourth largest country in Africa. The Population is among the poorest in the world, more than 13 million people are on humanitarian support. The aid organization “Sister Maria Euthymia Hilfsaktion e. V.” from Rosendahl, has been providing this humanitarian aid directly on site for years. Through personal contacts and relationships, the cooperation with the locals is organized so that all relief supplies and donations arrive 1:1 where they are needed. Our However, social commitment does not only refer to the annual Christmas donation of € 7,500. With much With heart and soul and energetic support, we are helping to needed relief supplies throughout the Münsterland region. Some time ago, the Lürwer family received a call from Dr. Boli. He runs a small hospital in Kinshasa and looks after street children on site. On the phone, he explained how food is currently being distributed to street children with the help of the Sprinter donated in 2019 and how general vaccinations for basic immunization are being carried out. Originally, it was planned to use the car for ambulance transports. But because the need of the street children is so high, the car is now constantly in use. So there is a lack of a vehicle for ambulance transports. As chance would have it, Hagelschuer was due to change its assembly vehicles. Thus, a technically flawless and immediately operational Mercedes Sprinter could be taken out of service without further ado. Now the preparations for the next aid transport are already in full swing again to ship the car to the Congo.
