Parts of a steam boiler system and their function

New article from our section: “Parts of a steam boiler system and their function

A needle valve is a type of valve with a small opening and a thread, the so-called needle-shaped valve piston. They are used to control the pressure and flow rate of a liquid in a pipeline. The needle valve has a needle-like plunger that fits firmly into the seat. When the valve handle is turned, the space between the needle and the seat slowly opens, allowing a minimal amount of liquid to flow through. The slow opening of the valve enables precise control of the amount of liquid. At Hagelschuer, needle valves are used, for example, in manostat beams or on the sample cooler . We always have a wide variety of valve types in stock.
