SLIDER FOR STEAM PIPES

A piece of threaded rod was welded into this steam pipe for repair purposes. Threaded rods have no place in a pipeline! This steam line has a Nominal size of DN 100 and a Operating pressure of 16 bar. At a leak can therefore approx. 200 °C hotter Saturated steam escapes unhindered.
