Our plant technology always consists of many individual components. These components have different tasks and functions. Sometimes they are quite inconspicuous, but immensely important for the overall process. Therefore, we would like to introduce you to these components in more detail.
The function of the pressure reducer is to reduce a high pressure (upstream pressure) to a lower pressure (downstream pressure). At the same time, it independently and constantly maintains the downstream pressure. The spring tension can be adjusted using the adjusting nut on the cone spindle to set the desired steam pressure. The pressure reducer is controlled by a diaphragm actuator.
