Case Studies: Steam generators for the automotive industry
Double container plant for automotive supplier to Bosnia
The automotive supplier PASS GmbH & Co. KG has had two steam boilers installed in one container by Hagelschuer at its plant in Bijeljina, Bosnia.
The task
For reasons of efficiency, care was taken to ensure that the connections to the supply lines were extremely short. Absolute priority in the planning was given to trouble-free operation, which was to be ensured without failures.
The attachment
The XXL container with the stately dimensions of 18 x 3 x 3.20 m was completely prefabricated in the factory, divided for transport and reassembled on site on a concrete foundation. The two oil-fired steam boilers are operated via a base load changeover circuit in the master-slave principle. In this process, one boiler alternately supplies the required 1 t/h of steam each week and the other boiler provides the necessary redundancy. If the demand for steam increases, the second plant can also be connected in parallel. Thus, a peak load of 2t/h of steam per hour can be achieved.
- Completely prefabricated in the factory
- Steam production of up to 2 t/h
- Two steam boilers in the master-slave principle
