Case Study: Process steam supply via a mobile steam boiler plant
Hagelschuer delivers container plant
Kampschulte GmbH & Co. KG, based in Soest, Germany, has been providing highly specialized textile services to the healthcare, industrial and trade sectors for 170 years. As a full-range textile supplier, Kampschulte inspires its customers with benefits that go far beyond its operational business.
The task
At the old, historically grown company location of Kampschulte, there was a poor logistical connection. The production processes could not be further optimized due to the building structure. Therefore, the Kampschulte company pushed for a new company location. In order to shorten the planning phase and to avoid costly conversion and installation work for a stationary boiler house, the decision was made to use a GH container for the new plant. Since this is simply placed in front of the building, there were also no restrictions in the organization of the production structures.

The attachment
The new fully equipped steam boiler plant in the GH special container is equipped with a 6 t /h, 13 bar steam boiler and a 3LN gas burner. The individual technical design ensures particularly high energy efficiency. Downtime losses due to keeping warm at the weekend are reduced by a built-in heat exchanger. The low-pressure steam generated in the condensate flash tank supplies the car wash with the necessary process steam. A 4000 l feedwater vessel with integrated deaerator takes care of the complete feedwater supply.
In order to comply with the increased noise protection requirements of the adjacent residential area, the 15 m high flue gas exhaust was additionally equipped with a silencer. The efficiency of the plant is improved by an additional flue gas condenser, which is integrated into the plant technology. The GH container facility measures 13 m in length, is 3.50 m wide and 3.80 m high.
