Hagelschuer supplies Adidas
The world-famous sporting goods manufacturer Adidas is supplied with even more energy by Hagelschuer in its futuristic SPEEDFACTORY sports shoe factory in Ansbach.
Oechsler, a company specializing in plastics processing, operates the SPEEDFACTORY, where sports shoes are produced using innovative processes. The heat required for plastics processing has been supplied by Hagelschuer’s rental container plant “Julia” since 2015. The capacity of Julia with 2 t/h has currently become too low because SPEEDFACTORY has installed additional production lines.
The task
To meet the higher energy demand, Oechsler switched to the rental container “Laura”. With an output of 5 t/h, Laura can produce significantly more heat. Hagelschuer realized the swap in a record-breaking time. However, the new plant not only supplies the shoe factory with more heat energy, but also makes water treatment more economical – energy and water costs have been reduced by around 15%.

About Laura
Laura is a steam boiler plant in GH container equipped with Economiserm, switchgear, chimney system,
feed water tank with deaerator, a softening plant with residual hardness monitoring and
feedwater pumps.
The burner can be operated with natural gas and light fuel oil. The mode of operation is according to EN 12953 72h.
