The task
Hagelschuer was commissioned to manufacture a new 2 t /h steam boiler plant at 10 bar. The system was designed as a compact, fully functional mobile unit in a container.
There were essentially two reasons that spoke in favor of the renewal and, at the same time, expansion of the existing steam supply . The existing boiler house , in which the old plant was housed, was placed extremely unfavorably in the middle of the smokehouse. In addition, the feed water supply was defective and a necessary replacement was almost impossible due to the structural conditions. In order to be able to further expand the production capacities and to be able to cover the increasing demand for steam supply, the decision was made to use the GH container solution from Hagelschuer .

The attachment
The container is 10 m long, 3 m wide and 3.50 m high. It was set up on a stable foundation in front of the production site within a very short time . The necessary connection work for the steam and gas lines was then carried out.
Immediately afterwards, the commissioning and the necessary TÜV approval took place without any production downtimes.
The old system was completely dismantled by Hagelschuer in the weeks that followed.
The free space could then be used to expand production.

Potts Brewery
