MOBILE POWER PLANTS FOR THE ENERGY SUPPLIER IN CHEMNITZ
Hagelschuer delivered two rental boilers for a project in the energy generation sector in Chemnitz. The “LUKAS” rental boiler supports Eins Energie in Sachsen GmbH & Co. KG in their lignite-fired power plant in the north of Chemnitz.
The task
The 25-t steam boiler was installed there as a mobile power plant in order to be used as an auxiliary boiler to ensure that the power plant could operate, particularly during the regular inspections to clean the flue gas desulphurisation system.

About eins energie
In order to cover the forseeable growth in heat and energy in Chemnitz, the “Heizkraftwerk Nord II“ cogeneration plant was built starting in 1981. The plant sent its first hot water to the district heating network in 1986. Up to 1990, three blocks of 160 MW heat and 60 MW electricity capacity were put into operation. A new 100 MW extraction condensing turbine was installed in the “Heizkraftwerk Nord II“ cogeneration plant in 2008/09.
